HELLO!!! i m back in singapore! yay! jus reached yesterday night. where m i back from??? TAIWAN!!
i love taiwan. it is so fun. i shall tell details of the trip later cos i gotta hurry to go to school for horrible A MATH lessons. ugh.
although there r some places that i wasn really happy about, but thats jus some minor problems!!
i dun regret choosing taiwan for my sabbatical, n i would give it an excellent!!

yay!!! its hero jaejoong on xman!!! LOL. he plays this "of course" game with changmin. so cute!! inside he says he was wearing the hamtaro pj n changmin said that it was his!! haha.

so anyway. this post would be dedicated to another guy that i like. haha. from dong bang shin ki... a korean boyband. he is jaejoong. also known as hero. whee.
tomorow. 28 august 2006. 7pm. bugis. mike he jn xiang is coming to singapore. to publicise his new show "marry me". how elated i was, thinking that "wow. i'll finally get a chance to see him". forgetting that my parents die die also wun let me go out.

but the thing is my dad wun be in singapore tmr! n my mum wun be home until very late tmr cos she is going to HER friend's birthday party. my bro is working late. my sis got exam. i settle my own dinner. isn't that a perfect oppurtunity for me to go out late?! but WHY. WHY DID I TELL MY MUM THAT I WILL BE HOME LATE TMR?? because i respect her! i wanted them to noe at least i'll be out. n den she starts scolding. not even finding out why i wan to go out.
so i called juu for help. she suggested some excuses n i used the "farewell party" method. like my friend is leaving soon, not taking final yrs, so we going to her house after school (near nafa), den going to bugis for dinner. (hey at least i'm telling some truth here...) so she was like "y must go bugis for dinner??! there the pple very hun luan... bla bla" i tot she was ok with bugis!!! we always go there together k...
next. she told my dad about me wanting to go out. my dad says "can postpone not?? tell your friend postpone la! wait till i in singapore den u go out late i can go fetch u wad... " i said "if u in singapore u wun even let me out!" sigh. why r my parents so strict?? n its not like as if i go out very often. no. i HARDLY go out at night k. in this whole yr, prolly only once or twice??? like hello. i'm a sec 3 girl, m i not even allowed to hang out with my friends until 9 plus??! its not like as if i'm asking to stay out till 12 plus. IF I COULD ASK MIKE HE NOT TO COME TMR I WOULD GLADLY DO IT MANS. but i cant!!!
so later we went out for dinner n i gave my mum the unhappy face throughout. like, u dun let me go i make u regret those kind of face. den she relented n said "u come home at 8 plus". but i ignored her still. like hello??! 8 plus means i have to leave bugis at 8 n the thing only starts at 7!!! i wun even be able to get my vcd signed!! (if i can get the vcd in the first place. cos i haven bought it yet. n i got no money. shucks. can i borrow from jasmine?) cos jasmine n gracia is going too!!
i mean. whatever la. i rather not go, den go there n see him for only 1 hr... but i will regret the whole of my life esp if i dun get to see him again.
i'm gonna beg today. be a nice guai girl n ask nicely again.

yo. it has been 1 week since i'm back from obs... n i'm not going to give a blow by blow account of my experience at obs... though i noe different watches did different stuff.
all i can say is that i learnt many things through sufferings, n through these sufferings, i gained alot of fun n joy... things that r definitely not taught in school... especially friendship. i felt that through those 5 days, i bonded alot with the scholars n pple like becky heng n jia... those whom i hardly get to talk to in class. i loved those 5 days when we talk together, eat together, hike through the forest together, sharing insect repellents... sharing sunblock when kayaking... rescuing each other when they capsized.
though i suffered from bad horrible sunburn (that makes me look like i got skin disease when my skin started peeling), i knew that there were many pple that cared bout me... like nant who lent me her aloe vera gel... everyone who avoided touching my hands n fingers (cos they looked like swollen carrots n hurts alot)... n many others helped me to carry stuff... n those who allowed me to slack on the last day when packing the store... thank you everyone!
it was not only the members of the watch that made this camp a wonderful one... the instructor helped alot too! if it wasn for her to be so bubbly n ego by nature, i think our watch would be the most boring one, cos we were so silent! it was her talkative character that lured our orignal character out to talk non-stop... it was she who made us realise the importance of punctuality... it was she who made us perservere through all the tasks given... it was her encouragement (together with u guys) that made me able to climb up the height element... so i give many thanks to her... ELGENE THE CHIO-BU! haha.
anyway. what i regret most is that we din get to say a proper goodbye to her on the last day of our camp... after finishing the packing up of our store n giving back our personal items, she brought us to the sovenier shop to get wad we wanted... n den we din see her again! sigh. we thought that we would be able to see her at the jetty, so we got ready an mg shirt with our names on it n a big COUSTEAU LOVES ELGENE on it to give it to her later... but when we reached the jetty, we were so shocked to not see her there! so all we can do is pass the shirt to another instructor to give it to her. sigh.
anyway. overall i should say that i enjoyed my time spent there... even though i miss home... miss singapore's food... miss all the luxury... but there should be a time when we all get out of our comfort zone to epxerience what we haven experienced before!
